American iGaming market may overtake European one in 3 years
As early as 2028, the American gambling market will be able to overtake the European one: Vixio analysts predict a volume of $56.3 billion.
While the United States legalizes iGaming and betting, Europe tightens regulations.
Experts of the Vixio analytical platform concluded that the US online gambling market will more than double from $15.6 billion to $32.5 billion.
It is predicted that by 2026, the regulated online gambling market in North and South America will reach $32.5 billion. It is worth reminding that in 2022, it was measured at $15.6 billion.
What about Europe?
Vixio predicts that in 2026, the European market will reach $41.4 billion. When in 2022, this industry had a figure of $33.3 billion.
Since the growth is not as rapid in this case, the United States, Canada, and Latin America will easily catch up with Europe or even surpass it.
James Kilsby, Chief Analyst at Vixio, states: “Until 2018, regulated online gambling was predominantly Eurocentric, but the legalization of betting and iGaming in a number of US states, as well as in Ontario (Canada) and Brazil, coincided with the tightening of regulation in European countries, which in some cases limited growth.”
