Casino sites share user information with Facebook - The Guardian

Online casino sites illegally collect information about users, which is then shared with Facebook, The Guardian reports.

It is noted that Meta then uses this data to register relevant users as gamblers. After that, they start spamming them with ads of the same online casinos. 

Journalists note that they have found dozens of such sites in the UK. They collect information about players’ behavior, decisions, and interests based on the pages they view. It is stated that this information was collected without the consent of players.
