Interview with Head of Affiliate RevDuck

RevDuck — it sounds unusual. In short, who are you and how do you differ from a typical affiliate brand?

I’m not going to say that RevDuck is something super innovative and revolutionary, as it is convenient and fashionable to say now. We are simple, but with amazing expertise. Our focus is always on quality — traffic, working with players, services for partners. And that’s what makes us stronger than any other affiliate brand. We don’t shout about our work — we do it, and we do it well!

When did you feel that you were becoming a serious competitor among other affiliate programs?

When competitors started coming to me and asking if I knew who owned the brands that occupy the top positions in our main markets.

How do you distinguish organic players from motivated ones, especially when there is little data available?

It’s actually very simple — the behavior patterns of motivated players are always visible. At RevDuck, we pay attention to a combination of metrics and signals:

Key indicators:

  • Reg2Dep: too high a score often signals motivated traffic.
  • Low LTV and lack of further activity.
  • Behavioral patterns: similar email addresses, template profile filling, similar phone numbers.
  • Timings: mass registrations within seconds — like a botnet.
  • Payment methods: overlapping details, identical deposits, identical amounts.
  • Gaming behavior: what they play, how quickly they leave, minimal interaction with the product.
  • Bonus activity: “take the bonus — disappear.”
  • Multiple accounts and connections between them.
  • KYC statuses.
  • Chargebacks and refunds.

And when you have cool guys on your team who not only track these metrics but also know how to work with them in combination, everything immediately becomes clear from the traffic.

Have there been cases when you refused to cooperate, even if the numbers looked attractive?

No. If the numbers are honest and verified, then the traffic will pay off, so you need to scale up!

But there is a point when we physically cannot predict the ROI from the first month. In this case, we have to turn off the flow, even if it currently provides a high ROAS and large volumes. It’s unpleasant, but sometimes necessary. The main thing is to keep a cool head, numbers, and analytics.

You said that cooperation can be more effective than competition. Can you give an example?

The philosophy in this case is very simple: if you want to get something useful, share something useful too. The market is constantly changing, transforming, and, very importantly, growing.  In such conditions, collaboration yields better results than competition when it comes to scaling.

We already work with numerous competitors in the market. But they have long been friends with whom we can talk about work.

What red flags do you see immediately in a partnership? What gives away an insincere approach?

Unwillingness to get involved in the situation and lack of desire to find a win-win solution.

“Affiliate marketing” — this phrase encapsulates the most important thing: working only on mutual trust, respect, and interest in the common result.

The main red flag is when someone sells “cheap CPA without KPI” and shirks any responsibility. In affiliate marketing, a low price without performance metrics almost always means low-quality traffic.

How do you motivate your team to think about long-term value rather than quick profits?

Our KPIs and OKRs are based on quality, not quantity. It’s actually quite simple:

Lower quality → lower revenue → lower bonuses.

The team is interested in results that work for the long term, not just once. And yes, if you are the kind of person who supports this approach, we would be happy to have you on our team! Feel free to write to us on Telegram.

How do you see the affiliate market evolving in 2025–2026?

I would like to make the following specific point:

The market has divided into two huge teams:

  • Licensed products
  • “Black” offshore

“Gray” licenses are becoming obsolete — they simply do not provide LTV that can compete with the growth in traffic quality on Tier 1/2.

Which is more important — speed or data integrity?

In the current reality, these two components are simply vital for results.

Without integrity, there is no point in working.

No speed means no opportunity to optimize effectively

What does being Head of Affiliate at RevDuck mean to you?

It means taking full responsibility for the brand in the market: from the first message from a partner in chat to any mention on social media or forums.

It’s the desire to bring every point of contact to perfection.

Is your typical day more about analytics or people?

I divide these tasks. Sitting for three days just doing analytics is completely ineffective. And of course, a week spent only on calls doesn’t work either. It’s about balance and regular switching.

What advice would you give to beginners in affiliate marketing?

Just work.

There is no such thing as easy money.

Influencers who sell dreams are lying.

It’s a difficult profession, but it’s worth it.
