How to work with scheme traffic in 2025: interview with the CEO of Traffer Partners
AFFHUB is here, and today we decided to talk about a type of traffic known as schemes. This is the same approach that has been generating huge profits for media buyers for many years. However, recently, more and more advertisers are abandoning it because they believe that the quality of such traffic does not meet their requirements.
However, we spoke with Sergey, CEO of Traffer Partners, a company that decided to go against the trends and create its own product specifically for schemes and crashes. How it works, whether schemes will still be relevant in 2025, and how profitable they can be — read about it in our new interview.
First, tell us a little about your affiliate network so that the audience understands what you are talking about.
We have been operating in the market since 2018. We started by doing live streams on TikTok. By the way, we were the first to start gambling on TT streams. Then we decided that we would reinvest the money we earned from streaming back into traffic.
But we weren’t familiar with FB back then. We didn’t know how to stream, and we didn’t work with schemes. So we decided to just buy traffic from our friends and sell it to advertisers we worked with on streams.
Word of mouth worked very well back then, and we started getting a lot of different webs with different traffic sources, and we took everything. The main thing was that the advertiser paid us every week. And we poured so much into streaming that we could pay webs every day. In principle, that’s what we did — we paid some people every three days, some every week, some twice a week — it all depended on how much traffic web could generate.
And so it all started. At first, we worked through Keitaro, connecting all the webs there.
On April 6, 2023, we leased the Scaleo engine and decided to scale and develop our partner network. This date is the founding date of TRAFFER PARTNERS.
Now we accept absolutely all traffic sources, except for fraud, cheating, etc.
We also accept scheme traffic, actively work with it, and have extensive expertise in this area.
We actively help webs that want to switch to scheme traffic, conduct training, and generally help webs get their traffic flowing. I don’t want to write about fast payments, because now every AP is trying to attract attention with this. No, our payments are standard. We can make early payments, but only to those with whom we have been working for a long time.
I think we are the best in schemes and in the fact that we provide significant assistance to webs in their launches. After all, we understand how this market works like no one else.
So you launched your own product under the schemes. Tell us more about it.
Yes, crash casino is our self-written product, adapted only for schemes. We accept many GEOs from Tier-1, as well as the CIS. We have very cool payment solutions for Europe there.
Furthermore, we don’t have any holds on this product, we pay twice a week from 5 thousand euros. There are also no hard KPIs. The rate is very simple, we give 70% of the player’s average check.
For example: the average check is 1,000 euros — we pay 700 euros.
The trick here is that you can even bring in players only for the first FTD, without redeposits, and you will still get your 70% of the average check.
How can you track the average check for each player?
This is done by API postbacks, which send information to the Telegram bot in the following format:
- 💰 New conversion: REGISTRATION
- 🔹 SUB_ID: 5
- 💵 Current deposit: 0 USD
- 📈 Total deposits: 0 USD
- 📦 Web payment: 0 USD
- 🕒 Time: 2025-05-20 11:00:39
We can also give a fixed rate for each deposit, but we need to check each player. So it’s a little more complicated here.
For beginners, explain as simply as possible what the essence of the schemes is.
Schematic traffic in affiliate marketing is not classic media buying, but the use of non-standard methods of attracting users, often “gray” or “semi-legal.”
The essence is as follows: the webmaster does not buy traffic directly (FB, Google, TikTok), but creates conditions where the user performs the desired action (registration, deposit, subscription, etc.) themselves.
Schematic traffic does not always mean “pennies.” Many have long been pouring it through classic advertising sources (Facebook, TikTok, Google), which means that the costs there are the same as for media buyers.
The difference is in the following:
- Monetization model — the scheme encourages the user to take action through a “legend” (algorithm, bonus, earnings, etc.). This gives a higher conversion rate because the person is motivated by the context.
- Effectiveness — thanks to the legend, the cost per FTD is often lower than for “pure” buyers who lead directly to the app or website.
- GEO dependence — in Tier-3, you can get very cheap deposits, but in Tier-1, even scheme traffic will be expensive.
Currently, most private companies avoid schemes and scams—why did you take a different path?
We took a different path because few people were working with schemes, and there was minimal competition.
For example, there was a lot of competition on apps (even before PWA existed). Advertisers wanted to buy a lot and cheaply, and Facebook was constantly tightening the screws, making traffic more expensive. Therefore, it was very difficult for solo developers or mini-teams to stay afloat and generate any volume.
We decided to go where there was minimal competition. At that time, it was schemes and streams.
Schemes now and 5 years ago — what has changed?
Traffic has definitely become more expensive. If we compare, for example, with 2022, the price for a Telegram subscription (in Germany) was $5, now it is $15-20 per subscription. Deposits can be closed at $100-120.
Germany is now one of the most expensive GEOs in scheme traffic. Conditions are also changing, and advertisers are willing to pay for quality traffic. Especially if you have a retention department that leads to re-deposits and long-term prospects.
Does this cause any problems with advertisers?
Of course, there have been advertising failures, but they were mostly due to affiliate errors. In general, we always warn advertisers about the traffic. And we create offers specifically for schemes.
We have never engaged in source substitution.
The advantages of schemes for media buyers are clear. But what are the advantages for AP and advertisers?
Essentially, scheme traffic is a quick start and a testing ground where APs get volume and advertisers get deposits and active users without large marketing investments.
Perhaps the advantages for advertisers include:
- Quick start and deposit turnover — schemes provide a flow of users at minimal cost.
- Scalability — the ability to warm up an offer and collect statistics in a short time.
Among the advantages for AP:
- Rapid growth in volume — websites flood in en masse, without complicated preparations.
- Easy entry for new websites — even beginners can easily join the schemes, which increases the pool of partners.
- Low lead cost — cheaper than classic media buying, which stimulates activity.
Scheme traffic is a fast, cheap, and relatively safe way for both AP and advertisers to get volume, test the market, and find new users.
What are the most relevant approaches in affiliate marketing right now?
In reality, everyone has their own funnel. But they all revolve around affiliate slots.
Some lead to aviators, some to aircraft mechanics, and some to rackets. By the way, our slot is designed for rackets.
There are also links that lead directly to slots, or plinko and other slots. In fact, it all depends on your processors and how skilled they are. An experienced processor will lead to any slot.
By the way, in our PP you can get a working funnel for one of the European GEOs. Or we can help you build your funnel according to your technical specifications. Contact us 🙂
What are the most popular sources for schemes right now?
Facebook. This is the basis for schemes. I don’t know what other sources you can use.
The standard funnel is as follows: FB-TG-manager/bot-reg/dep
We used to work with Instagram, which was even better because the traffic was much cheaper. But Instagram doesn’t last long, you always need to have 4–5 donors in reserve and actively maintain your pages. This takes time and additional content costs. Therefore, it is better to focus on Telegram.
But you can test different options. Now they are flooding UGCBT traffic, so I won’t be surprised by anything.
Now all teams are trying to come up with something stable and long-lasting. Is it possible to build such a thing on schemes?
Probably not. It is impossible to build a completely stable and long-term business based solely on scheme traffic.
Schemes are more about quick income and earnings than stability and longevity. Most schemes are focused on quick deposits, but not on long-term user retention. This hurts LTV for advertisers.
There is no protective barrier — any team can copy the scheme, and competitive pressure instantly cuts profits.
As an additional channel, scheme traffic can consistently bring in volume if other models are built in parallel. Therefore, the answer is:
Scheme traffic is a good “springboard” for quick earnings and a quick start, but for long-term stability, you need to diversify your channels and develop other strategies.
What are the prospects for these schemes in the future?
I think automation will play a bigger role — those who use anti-detection tools, botnets, AI-generated creatives, and auto-farming accounts will have an advantage. The human factor is gradually fading into the background.
AP and advertisers will become more demanding; they need deposits with normal LTV. Therefore, conditions for schemers may become tougher (higher holds, cuts, additional checks).
Schemes are still a great way to get into arbitrage, quickly increase turnover, gain experience, and accumulate capital. But those who want to build something stable will be forced to integrate into PPC, content, or their own products.
Finally, the most interesting part — money. How much can you really earn from schemes?
A lot 🙂
Let’s put it this way, I’m not going to talk about money here. I’d rather tell you about it on our Telegram channel.
We will analyze a detailed case study for one GEO, with all the proof. And there you will find out what the numbers are in the schemes.
You will also find a list of current vacancies on our Telegram channel, because we are always looking for strong employees.
So go to Telegram, get acquainted, and join us. And of course, follow us on Instagram.
