How influencer traffic works in gambling: Interview with streamer Vasya
AFFHUB is here! Today, we will figure out how to make money on streaming traffic.
To do this, the AFFHUB YouTube channel invited an expert who has been in this niche for many years — Vasya. A charismatic online casino blogger. She streams on Kick and Twitch.
Streaming is not only about big money, but also emotional swings, excitement, and stalking. Read more about all this in our short review.
Vasya, tell us about yourself. How long have you been involved in streaming traffic?
Well, I’ve been doing it since 2021, so for 4 years. But when the war started, I didn’t stream at all for a year.
So I’ve been actively streaming for 3 years now.
I started with Ukrainian streams. And now I have streams for Ukraine and Tier-1 in English.
I currently have 6 streams per week: 3/3 or 4/2.
Do you stream almost every day?
Yes, every day except Sunday. But sometimes I also stream on Sundays, usually not in the evening and only in Ukrainian.
Are you a gambling addict?
Look, I’m a gambling gamer. I tell everyone that when I started streaming slots, I had played a lot of computer games before that. I’ve been very competitive since childhood, wanting to complete a mission or defeat a boss, so I approached slots with that same vibe.
What was your biggest win?
€27,000.
“Casinos are not a way to make money.”
It’s all your fun time. You set aside a budget, you have fun, you get that emotion — you paid for it. It’s the same with clothes, cigarettes, alcohol, etc. It’s everyone’s choice.
How much have you spent in 4 years?
I think definitely $200,000+. I don’t know about half a million, but 200+ is 100%.
“Overall, I’m in the red.”
How do you get viewers to dep?
Show them how the slot plays.
It’s very important to stream every day. We know that casinos are completely random. So if you stream more than once a week, you have a better chance of showing this variability.
That’s why you need to show it, make as much noise as possible about your wins, make clips, spam them on Instagram, Telegram, everywhere, everywhere, everywhere, so that people want to experience the same emotions.
How do you warm up your audience? Do you make clips on Instagram so that people will go to the stream?
Yes, I use insta pushing. Also, I don’t rule out the fact that sexism has existed, exists, and will continue to exist. I never wear sweaters on streams. It always looks good because an aesthetic picture also attracts attention.
90% of players are men. We turn on different aspects to make people want to go to the stream. Some just want to watch me dance, some want to laugh at something.
“They just love forbidden topics.”
When I realize that I need to raise the temperature, I just mention some ex, some sex topic, and off we go. They don’t even watch the stream, they just discuss something among themselves. So these moments warm up the audience and at the same time you get money.
What is FTD?
It’s when a player comes and deposits money using your link.
This FTD tracks your activity as an affiliate.
The number of FTDs depends on the month. There may be 10 in one month and 150 in another.
It depends on the collab, how the casino plays, your streams, the vibe, holidays, days of the week (always on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday – that’s when it booms). It’s all analytics.
I once had a stream where one slot just poured money into my account for two hours. I had $150, and I ended up with $15,000 from one game. There were a lot of FTDs that day.
Vasya, just between us, did you take the $15,000 for yourself?
Look, I take some of it, and some of it I don’t. I developed this policy at the beginning.
I had a few rules from Nikita (a friend). I remember he strictly forbade me to play casino games without streaming. That is, even if I want to play something and am interested, even without a camera, I have to go live. I can only play while streaming so that people can see it. This is to develop the habit of being online all the time.
I allocate money for streaming and never add money to the game.
How much money can a streamer earn?
He can earn from $1,000, from $5,000, from $10,000, from $20,000, from $25,000.
It’s like a blogger.
No one has canceled personal branding, so it’s promoted on Instagram and other platforms.
If someone asks me, I answer, “I’m an online casino blogger.”
What’s the most you’ve made in a month from streaming?
$10,000+ (and 10+ could be 100k, you know).
Where are you now?
I can’t say because I’ve had some unpleasant personal experiences with stalkers, so I stopped advertising where I am.
I’m in Europe. In Ukraine, it was easier with stalkers because you’re at home, you know who to go to, and so on. In Europe, the system is a little different, we all understand that. There’s no one to go to, except the police, which is very difficult.
Who are stalkers?
Stalkers are people who follow you, threaten you, find out where you live.
They appear more often in streams because that’s where I’m real, that’s where the emotions are.
