Meta unveiled a personalized AI app

Meta has announced the launch of its own application, “Meta AI,” built on the Llama 4 model.

The company states that this is the first step toward creating a more personalized artificial intelligence. The app itself will operate based on voice commands.

“Meta AI is easy to talk to, which makes interaction smoother and more natural. It’s more social, so it can show you information about people and places you’re interested in. You can also use Meta AI’s voice features while multitasking or performing other tasks on your device, thanks to a visible icon that notifies you when the microphone is in use,” the company explained.

At first glance, it might seem that Meta has released an analog of “Siri” or other voice assistants. However, according to the company, Meta AI is a more personalized platform. The voice doesn’t just read text — it adapts to the topic. In addition, it syncs with other Meta AI-based products, including photo generation or editing, text writing, and more.

Currently, the platform does not have internet access. But developers say this is only the first stage, and further development of the project is planned. Additionally, the company warns that the platform still has a significant number of bugs at this stage.
