Two Premier League clubs accused of working with unlicensed casinos
The English Premier League clubs Everton and Leicester are accused of working with online casinos that are not licensed to operate in the UK.
It is noted that these are such projects as Stake.com and BC.Game. Despite the lack of a license, the British can easily access them using a VPN.
Against this background, the Anti-Gambling Organization accused the clubs of violating the requirements of the Gambling Commission and called for measures to be taken against them. It is currently unknown what kind of measures are meant. There is a practice of deducting points or imposing transfer restrictions on clubs that violate the relevant rules. However, in most cases, clubs are simply fined.
