Pride Month Special: How Niche Dating Works in 2026

Just a year or two ago, most affiliates viewed niche dating simply as a side project to casual dating: test a new approach, secure a lower CPM, and move on.

But in 2026, the situation is completely different. Over the past six months, niche search queries have grown significantly, and users are increasingly choosing products tailored to specific interests and communities instead of one-size-fits-all solutions. This is particularly evident in the LGBTQ+ segment: searches related to queer content and trans-led content continue to rise, and the audience itself has become more active and open.

For my part, I can say that at Cpamatica, we see this trend very clearly in our partners’ metrics. Pride Month is one of the best times to enter niche dating or test new approaches. During this time, the audience is eager to engage with ads, and competition among publishers is still lower than in classic casual gaming. And if we’re talking about the category that’s growing the fastest right now, it’s definitely trans dating. Moreover, this is no longer about a niche audience—traffic has increased significantly, and users are engaging with products much more actively than in traditional dating offers.

Growth of niche dating in 2026

According to our data at Cpamatica, since the start of the year, traffic in niche categories—particularly on LGBTQ+ offers—has grown by 65% compared to the same period last year. At the same time, we’re seeing a 45% increase in CR and a 20% rise in average EPC. This is a positive sign for affiliates: the audience has become more engaged, and the traffic itself is of higher quality. It’s only natural that many partners are now not just diversifying their traffic through niche dating but building their core strategies around it.

The main advantage of the niche is lower competition among publishers. Even in top-tier geos, you can often get a lower CPM than in casual dating, especially when working with properly adapted creatives. SEO, native, banner social, and video formats are currently performing the best. At the same time, mainstream approaches in niche dating usually yield weaker results, so adapting the campaign to a specific audience (gay, queer, lesbian, transgender) is more critical here than running a large volume of tests.

One nuance that is often underestimated in niche dating right now is how quickly creatives burn out. In casual dating, many campaigns start to lose traction after just a few days of active traffic, especially in the US. In niche segments, the situation is slightly different: due to lower competition and more precise audience targeting, creatives often have a longer lifespan and don’t require constant refreshing.

Geographically, the best performance is currently seen on LGBTQ+ offers:

  • English-speaking Tier-1 countries — US, UK, AU, CA, NZ;
  • French-speaking segment — FR, BE, CH;
  • European GEOs with lower volume but often higher EPC — DE, AT, IT, PL, and the Nordics.

In my experience, if you need scale and high traffic volumes, it’s best to start with the US. If you want lower competition and an easier entry point, it’s worth testing Europe.

AI dating shows good CR

I’d like to note separately that AI dating is currently growing rapidly. This is not only a general trend but also specifically our experience at Cpamatica. I recommend looking for niche (gay, BBW, mature, etc.) landing pages on AI dating offers, as they are currently showing high CR.

I want to note that there is a very noticeable difference in approaches. While in classic dating, marketers often try to pressure the user with aggressive creatives or pre-landing pages, in AI dating this usually just cuts into the CR. The main reason for the high CR in AI dating is the interaction format itself. In classic dating, the user has to wait for a match, a response, or at least some minimal activity from the other side. In AI products, interaction begins immediately after registration, so users get drawn into the funnel much faster and stay within the product longer.

Another point is that AI dating is currently holding up well even in regions where traditional dating is already heavily saturated in terms of CPM (the US and European countries). Also, in my experience, native formats and targeting iOS traffic work really well; this is where users respond much better to such approaches.

Proven Strategies in Niche Dating from Cpamatica Partners

Over the past year, we’ve worked with many partners who are scaling up specifically in niche dating. And if we try to identify what consistently drives volume, certain common traits emerge that unite profitable partnerships. Below are a few tips that are currently most effective in this niche.

Let’s start with the main mistake many websites make—using approaches that have proven successful in the mainstream but without adapting them to the audience. This is practically a guarantee of failure. Even if a campaign has performed well in the mainstream, in a niche segment—such as the LGBTQ+ community—it will still need to be completely reworked: different creatives, a different tone of voice, and an entirely different approach to user communication.

The following perform best:

  • adapted creatives based on casual gaming approaches—without aggressive teasers or overly explicit tactics, with an emphasis on intrigue;
  • native and video formats;
  • testing broad placements, not just thematic categories.

By the way, many people underestimate the last point. I can confidently say that broad placements often yield results no worse than direct thematic categories. Especially if the creative looks organic and isn’t overloaded with obvious triggers for a specific niche.

Partner Case Study: $10k Revenue from Native Traffic

Recently, one of my partners entered the niche dating market through Exoclick. We started with the US, while simultaneously testing the UK, AU, and CA. In some regions, the EPC was even higher than in the US. However, we ultimately kept the main focus on the US due to the high volume of traffic.

At the start, they tested several formats at once—video, native, and banners. In fact, all sources yielded results, but the advertiser liked native traffic the most. After that, the partner began scaling individual native campaigns and focused on iOS. As a result, iOS delivered the highest Click2Reg and Reg2Sale metrics among all traffic sources.

Within a few weeks, the partner’s payout was increased, and the daily cap was tripled. Ultimately, the partnership reached $10k in monthly revenue with a 40% ROI. You can see the results in the screenshot below –

And honestly, I’m seeing similar results in LGBTQ+ dating more and more often these days. If an affiliate finds a working campaign and adapts creatives to the audience effectively, advertisers are willing to run such campaigns for a very long time and offer strong payment terms.

Conclusions

Observing how partners are currently working with niche dating, it’s quite easy to enter the niche right now—all you need to do is adapt creatives and links that are already delivering results in casual dating to the target audience.

Yes, the traffic volume here is lower, but that is precisely why it is easier to find whales in niche segments that will allow you to run campaigns for a long time and get top-tier terms from advertisers.

Looking at Cpamatica’s partners, I see that interest in niche dating—specifically LGBTQ+ dating—continues to grow in virtually all major regions. This is also a plus for newcomers: due to the constant growth of the vertical, it’s now easier for us to get better terms from advertisers for tests and launch new offers faster.
